Fred Hecht - Leaves
(verde guatemala marble)
20'' x 15'' x 5''
Statement:
I was born in Los Angeles, California, and spent my childhood in the city of Ontario. I attended Chaffey High School and went on to graduate from UCLA with degrees in History and Economics. I then went on to get my MBA from USC. My work experience included Retail, Wholesale Apparel and in the Promotional Products Industry. I spent much of my younger days Sculpting in Wood but always longed to work in Stone. At the tender age of 70, I had the good fortune to study stone sculpture with Michael Tine, Myles Schachter and Al Brown. Which set me on my path. I have found that every stone has its own special character or personality. Even though you might start out with a specific design in mind, the stone often will take you in its own unique direction. The collaboration between sculptor and stone can be an intimate, and even a meditative process. Every piece has its own unique story to tell, if you open yourself up to hearing it.
Kerstin Sokoll - Shinrin'Yoku
(acrylic on canvas)
120 x 100 cm
Statement:
Kerstin Sokoll’s exhibitions reflect a continuous international presence across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. Her works have been featured at renowned art fairs and galleries such as World Art Dubai, Artexpo New York, and art KARLSRUHE, as well as in institutions like Neue Galerie Dresden and Museum Bellini in Florence. Collaborations with musicians and curated corporate shows highlight the interdisciplinary strength of her practice. From Venice to Dubai, her exhibitions trace an evolving dialogue between emotion, abstraction, and color as a universal language. My art is a dialogue between strength and sensitivity – a balance between control and surrender. I work with color as an energy field. Each layer carries emotion, memory, and vibration. Through this process, movement becomes meditation, and intensity turns into clarity. I am drawn to the invisible rhythms that connect us – the pulse beneath silence, the shimmer within stillness. My paintings are built from that resonance. They are not meant to describe reality, but to reveal what lies beneath it: transformation, connection, and the beauty of impermanence. In my work, luxury is not material. It is the luxury of awareness – the ability to pause, to feel, to be present in front of a painting that breathes. Every color, every gesture is a reminder: energy never disappears, it only changes form. I paint to evoke, not to depict. My intention is to invite the viewer into an emotional dialogue – where abstraction becomes connection, and silence speaks through color.
Cher Pruys - An Apple A Day
(acrylic on hot press)
9'' x 12''
Statement:
Cher Pruys, ASAA SCA, IGOR, AAPL, CSAA, AMS, LMS, OSA, MAA, CFA, NOAPS, PSOA, AWA., AAOA. I am a self taught artists working in water based medium, mainly acrylic, but also at times gouache and water-colour. I am a hyperrealism painter fascinated by the world around me. I am very drawn to shiny surfaces as well as transparent objects, especially when the lighting brings them to life. I look for beauty in everyday objects that most people take for granted or just don’t truly see them as they are. The seemingly boring and mundane subjects can truly be like magnets if portrayed in the right light. Shiny metal is one of those materials that can host endless visions….the light hits it and the reflections are captured on the smooth, sleek surface…people and animals especially the eyes...an artists dream! My future art plans are to paint the countless subjects I have chosen to become paintings and to share my art with as many people as I can. "To take my inner visions with my hands and create a work of art for you the viewer .... That is the ultimate in self expression."
